  • Deliver high quality support to the Opportunity Shop Managers and the Retail Area Manager whilst taking responsibility for duties as they are allocated;
  • Undertake other duties such as helping to sort donated goods and tidying the store if required from time to time;
  • Be an active team player by working collaboratively with the Op Shop Manager, Volunteers and the wider St John organisation.
For this role you will need to demonstrate:
  • A desire to help people in need in a compassionate and caring way
  • An appreciation of different cultures

  • Good time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be physically fit as you will be loading and unloading goods by hand. A clean and current Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence and an ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential.
This is a great opportunity to join a visionary team who work in partnership with the Area Committee to give back to the community.
