Jobseekers

So, what is JobCafe?
JobCafe is a virtual ‘waiting room’ in your career. Whether you’re looking for a job right now, looking to move at some time in the near future, or just looking for the right opportunity with the right organisation, JobCafe is the perfect place for you to be.

Unlike job boards, JobCafe allows you to market yourself to potential employers. It means that your photo, contact details, employment history, qualifications, skills and experience - and the things that make you exceptional - will be available to them 24/7 so that when a role comes up, you’re right there waiting for them.

JobCafe is not about building a huge database, instead, it’s designed to be a very targeted database of highly skilled people like you who will be of great value and benefit to potential employers.
Companies familiar with our talent pool technology often don’t even have to advertise their roles as they get the right results from their database.

Your ideal company may be around the corner, but it could also be the other side of the world - JobCafe makes it easy for them to find and contact you.

Oh, and the best thing?  It’s FREE!

Who is using JobCafe?
A number of prominent organisations are already getting the benefits of JobCafe, and with the profile growing all the time, the list is set to grow dramatically in the very near future, making it important for you to come back regularly and keep your profile up to date and accurate.

Who can see my profile?
We have three types of organisations using JobCafe.

One - JobCafe Licence holders
Organisations that have purchased a recruiter licence can access the JobCafe talent pool for job posting or member seaches.

Two - Corporate Clients
Organisations that have invested in creating their own customised talent pool solution.  JobCafe jobseeker members can choose to join these 'linked' talent pools.

Three - JobPosters
Some organisations choose only to post their jobs on JobCafe, these organisations market their roles to JobCafe members but are unable to see jobseeker profiles.

Accurate Matching
Once you’ve clearly defined your experiences and skills including the number of years and level of training, we can then go about matching you to shortlists for our organisations.

JobCafe is a very smart recruitment system that allows employers to match in two different ways.

1.      Job Matching – When an organisation posts a job on JobCafe, they also build a search criteria directly into the job advert. The system then sorts matches according to your:

a.      skills
b.      work experience
c.      desired work location
d.      salary range

2.      Advanced Searching – Many organisations prefer to advance search the database before they advertise a job, allowing them to check whether the perfect person is waiting to be contacted - thus saving precious time and money during the recruitment process.

Job Cafe Now!
JobCafe uses the best techniques available to you closer to your ideal employers. 2010 will not only see the advent of video on JobCafe to help you use it better, but it will also see an increased presence for organisations in the world of social marketing.

Marketing JobCafe
The best form of advertising, however, is word of mouth, and we’d like our 8000+ job seekers to spread our word by telling other likeminded people about the benefits of JobCafe. To ensure that the number of great organisations grows, though, we are growing the profile of JobCafe within the market. So, rather than mass market we prefer to focus on the people and skills our clients are looking for.

We achieve this through:

·   Marketing partnerships with training institutions
·   The referrals of our members
·   Regular monthly newsletter
·   Targeted internet tactics to grow members and traffic to the talent pool using tools like ‘Share This’.
·   Marketing activity supported by targeted Google and Social Networking campaigns designed to build our specialist talent pool.

So, what are you waiting for ... as the saying goes "nothing ventured, nothing gained".
